Welcome to this week's #vss365 prompt fun! Enjoy!

1-19-2020

Prompt word: articulate

His words whispered power. His prose elegant, #articulate, and full of sorrow. He swept us up in his sirens call, and we fell as one to our knees before him. Ready to worship at his feet. Our tears making rivers down our faces. Making puddles in the sand beneath us. #vss365

1-18-2020

Prompt word: muddled

My eyes were heavy. My mind #muddled. There were voices in the darkness all around. A cacophony of chaos. Confused, I stumble through the dark on leaded feet. My head swims. The thumps of pain in tune with the beat of my heart. Where was I? What had happened? I was empty. #vss365

1-17-2020

Prompt word: riparian

The #riparian vegetation was gone. It was supposed to be protected, but that just made the company use shadier means to pursue their ends. They didn't care about environmental impacts. They sought their bottom line. To hell with the world that was consumed in the process. #vss365

Prompt word: yearning

Prompt word: flourish

1-14-2020

Prompt word: fibrous

I gnawed on the meager scraps and tried not to think about what I was eating. It's this, or starve repeated in my head. Again. They threw very little to those in the Pit. Even if the strange meat was #fibrous and smelled wrong. It was better than starving... Maybe... #vss365

1-13-2020

Prompt word: opaline

There were jewels in the sand. Their facets giving off tiny shimmers in the noonday sun. Some were still clutched tight in a fist held tight with rigor. The bounty had faired better than it's keeper. His #opaline eyes stuck open, a rictus smile frozen on his lips. #vss365
